NORI WRAP
Add protein and veggies of choice and wrap in nori for a quick, healthy snack (I love turkey, avocado, and sea salt).
Nori is rich in iodine, which studies show is a necessary micronutrient for optimal fertility. People with low iodine levels (about half the population!) take longer to conceive and have more fertility struggles.
WALNUTS
A handful of walnuts provides omega-3s, protein, and vitamin E, which are all important nutrients for fertility.
HARD-BOILED EGGS
Slice a hard-boiled egg in half and add your topping of choice. Some of my favorite toppings are Bitchin’ Sauce, Primal Kitchen Mayo, and organic mustard.
Eggs (especially pasture-raised) are one of the best foods in existence for fertility. Rich in choline, good cholesterol, DHA, B-vitamins, and more, I try to get 2-3 eggs into my diet each day when TTC or pregnant.
AVOCADO WITH SEA SALT + PEPPER
Slice an avocado in half and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Avocados are chock full of phytonutrients that can protect your cells and improve the quality of the uterine lining.
GRASS-FED BEEF STICK
I love the @chomps brand. I buy them at Trader Joe’s.
Most women need around 100 grams of protein each day for optimal health and fertility. Protein helps to stabilize blood sugar levels, which is vital for balancing reproductive hormones and maintaining a healthy weight.
