About me

Before I was a holistic health and fertility coach, I thrived in the world of nutrition and personal training in my 20s and 30s. Like many women who try to conceive later in life, I was focused on my career, achievements, and enjoying life when I suddenly realized I was 40 and finally at a place in life where becoming a mom was my most important priority.

I met my husband a couple days after my 40th birthday and quickly knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him and start a family. Thankfully, by this time, I had successfully turned around the numerable hormonal and medical issues (amenorrhea, hypothyroidism, adrenal dysfunction, heavy metal toxicity, and more!) I faced in my mid-30s, despite being dismissed by conventional medicine. Leveraging my background in holistic nutrition and health, which had already helped hundreds of clients overcome hormonal imbalances, I created a personalized approach that addressed the root causes of my own health concerns.

Life doesn’t always go as planned, however, as I had a severe concussion at age 41, which resulted in a drastic change in my hormones. I went from being very fertile before the concussion to no longer fertile 5 months after the concussion. In fact, my doctor told me the concussion could bring on early menopause! It was devastating news to hear, right at a time when becoming a mother had become my most important priority.

Initially, I sought help from fertility doctors and considered IVF. However, this approach became increasingly undesirable due to the high costs, the statistically low chances of success at my age, and clinics’ unwillingness to work with women over 40 using their own eggs. My husband was also insistent that we could achieve our baby dreams without IVF.

I dove back into the research and spent a year holistically preparing my body. I was able to conceive naturally at 43, deliver a healthy baby at 44, and do it again at the age of 46. My story is a testament to the power of natural fertility optimization, even after 40.

If you’re considering motherhood later in life, know that it is possible for many women! Whether you are trying to conceive naturally or increase your chances of a successful IVF cycle, there is hope, and I’m here to help you navigate your path to parenthood.
