Do you want to live longer and healthier? N-acetylcysteine (NAC) is valued primarily for its role in antioxidant production by making and replenishing glutathione (the “master” antioxidant). Although I’ve written several posts about how NAC can improve fertility in both men and women by reducing oxidative stress, which damages or kills reproductive cells, it’s also one of the most potent immune support supplements. It has been shown to inhibit viral replication, loosen thick mucus in the lungs, reduce inflammation, and benefit many other health conditions. Some researchers believe it may even contribute to longevity.

Studies show that taking 600 – 1200mg of oral NAC daily significantly decreases the frequency and severity of influenza, pneumonia, and COVID.
