Absolutely. “Unexplained” usually means that standard testing didn’t reveal an obvious issue, not that nothing is going on. In my experience, unexplained infertility reflects gaps in what has been evaluated. When those areas are explored, we can identify fertility challenges that can be supported and improved.
Yes. Lab reference ranges are designed to flag disease, not to define optimal fertility. Many clients have labs that fall within normal ranges but are not ideal for conception or sustaining a healthy pregnancy, especially after 40. We focus on functional, fertility supportive lab values and how they fit into your overall health picture.
For many women, natural conception in their 40s is still very possible with the right support. Fertility at this stage is influenced far more by overall health than by age alone. When those factors are addressed, many women are able to conceive naturally or significantly improve outcomes with IVF.
Many women begin to see measurable changes in hormones, cycles, symptoms, and lab markers within 4–6 weeks. Improvements in egg and sperm quality typically build over a few months. Some conceive within a few months, and many achieve pregnancy well within a year, especially once hidden obstacles are identified and addressed.
Yes. Improving egg quality is one of the most consistent changes we see. Clients with histories of miscarriage or failed IVF cycles often see meaningful improvements once inflammation, nutrient status, mitochondrial health, and overall reproductive health are optimized.
There are some foundational tests I like to review for both partners, including hormone markers, metabolic health, nutrient status, and sperm health. Beyond that, testing is highly individualized and guided by your history, symptoms, lifestyle, and past fertility outcomes. The goal is to uncover hidden barriers, not to run unnecessary labs.
Male fertility is half of the equation. While I primarily work through my female clients, partner health is fully addressed through testing recommendations, nutrition, lifestyle guidance, and targeted strategies that support sperm health and overall reproductive outcomes.
